My refrigerator is freezing everything!!! I just replaced the thermometer ($45) because it would get warm. Now I can't keep anything from freezing in it. The thermometer "stick"/gauge of the replacement part was not identical to the one I pulled out and is 2-3 inches shorter so I don't have as much exposed. Could it be that the new thermometer thinks the fridge is warm bc the plastic tubing is insulating the gauge?

The manufacture date is 08-01

Please help!

I'm not sure...the only control is in the lower refrigerator section. I have barley turned it on and it freezes everything. I let it thaw and turn the dial completely and, of course, freezes everything.
