cap helix for ice maker

Model Number: mzd2665hew Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

i just rec.d replacemet part cap helix. I see it is to be put on through the back. My question is does the agitator go through the large sq hole in the cap helix. Do I just apply pressure? Part No d7749401.
