My refrigerator has a cracked trip tray. I tried to remove it before purchasing a new one to be sure I could. There are 4 screw I removed from the bottom, tripping the refrigerator up to access them. The tray still will not come out. There appears to be a tall lip on the metal bottom that is holding the plastic trip tray from sliding out. Any ideas?

I think that plastic tray slides easily.I used to clean it once in a week.Still if you are getting problem in removing it you have to remove whole tray with plates on which it slides.
