A while back, my refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling all together. Turns out the compressor stopped working. I replaced the mother board and the compressor began working again. I set the freezer and refrigerator setting both to 5 and left it alone for 8 hours. When I came back to check on it, the refrigerator was nice and cold and the freezer was freezing again and making ice. I put a cup under the dispenser to get some ice and the motor will not turn to dispense ice. As a matter of fact, the motor makes no sound at all. The ice door opens, but no dispensing. So I tried to get some water, but no water comes out of the dispenser. So I go to get a water bottle out of the refrigerator and it’s almost frozen solid. Since replacing the board, I have also replaced the thermostat in the freezer, but no change on the current issues. I even ran some weedeater string up the water tube on the front of the door to make sure the line wasn’t frozen and it was not. At least not the first 10 or so inches.

Details

1. Ice maker makes ice.
2. Ice door on front of unit opens when attempting to dispense ice.
3. Auger motor doesn’t activate to turn clear plastic auger to push ice out.
4. No water dispensed out of the front of the unit.
5. Refrigerator, even on setting 1, freezes everything in the refrigerator section.
6. Front panel is lit. That is, you can select between water, ice, etc…
