Hi and thanks for this service! My GE Profile side-by-side is running too warm on both sides (15 deg. freezer, 40 deg. fridge, verified with engineering-grade thermometers), and the ice maker stopped making ice at the same time (but it still dispenses water). I cleaned the coils (pretty clogged with dog hair), but it didn't help. I warmed the whole thing up for a day, blowing air through the vents in the back of the freezer, and restarted it...but still the same issues...it took a long time to cool back down again...about 12 hours.

BTW, the Express Thaw light is always on, been that way for many months, set at 3 lbs. If I reset the fridge, it just comes back on again.

Any advice would be appreciated! Be glad to just install parts and see if it works...but don't know where to start.

If your fridg is running constantly, you may have refrigeration problems. Pull the freezer back panel and describe the frost pattern, total, heavy frost, or partial.
