I have a Fridgidaire side by side refrigerator in my garage, and it recently tripped my GFCI outlet (15A). I tried it on a 20AMP outlet with no load or extension cord, and immediately tripped the circuit breaker upon contact. The cord looks to be intact.

The unit does not have water hooked, so no ice or water running through the unit.

Any tips on troubleshooting where the source may be and how to fix it?

Fridgidaire FRS26ZGGW6
Manufacture date: 3/1999

Thanks!
