Original Problem:
Water poured out of the ice maker from the inside of the freezer compartment. In reviewing the problem on the on-line forums, it seemed that the consensus was that the water valve (#242252702) might be the problem.

After Replacing the Water Valve:
Replaced the valve - making sure the color coded lines were properly attached based on the matching colors between the hoses and the valve. Water began flowing through the ice machine unit inside the freezer (spilling out the ice/water taps on the front door). In addition, water flowed through the valve on the wall of the house. (seemed like pressure pushing back to the water supply).

Question for Forum:
Assuming that the water valve was not the issue, what else might be the problem? Could it be the actual ice maker inside the freezer? Is there a "water regulator" in the ice maker?

Any assistance is much appreciated.
