I have condensation forming on the frame of the refrigerator along the door frame. The condensation builds and evenutally falls on to the floor. I have already replaced the gaskets on both the freezer and refrigertor doors, turned the moisture switch to the on position, turned down the temperature, all to no avail. Any thing else I should try?

There are heaters that are behind the breaker strips around the doors. GE calls them mullion heaters. They are probably bad. Bad news it appears that they are discontinued.

Thanks for your response. I see them on the schematic that you have online. Is it difficult to remove the breaker strips around the door to check and make sure the connection is okay?

The breaker strips will pry away from where they meet the cabinet. A thin bladed scewdriver will help. It can be tough doing it without scratching the paint on the cabinet. You will just need to be careful or you can run a piece of duct tape down the edge to help protect it.

Those heaters were common to fail. They would burn in half.
