Hi please help... Fridge: 2006 LG model LFD21860ST, french door style, freezer drawer counter top depth. Problem: Error code FF displayed. I accessed the freezer fan. The fan has three leads (purple on left, red middle, black on right). Not knowing which leads to test, I tested all two wire combinations after plugging fridge back in and taping freezer drawer switch closed. I got no voltage readings. Not satisfied this was a valid test, I removed the fan and direct tested it with a 9V battery. I couldn't get any fan rotation with any two wire combinations. With the error code FF and fan not operating with the 9v bat, I ordered part number 4681jb1027h (fan motor). Installed fan. ------------------------------???????????????????------------------------------ I'm still getting the error code FF approximatley 90-120 sec after fridge is pluged in??? Is there a temperature sensor?? I didn't see one when I removed the back panel in the freezer drawer. Could this be the problem, a bad sensor and where is it??? Is all this pointing to a bad mother board?? I hate just replacing parts for the sake of it. What is my next few trouble shooting procedures?? Please help.
