My ice maker gets jammed about every two weeks. All of the icemaking equipment and the auger are working fine. However, for some reason, a layer of ice is forming on the bottom of the inside of the bin. This layer is apparently becoming thick enough that it eventually jams the auger, and it won't turn. After I empty the bin of ice, remove the frozen layer of ice on the bottom of the bin, and replace the cubes, everything works fine again. Two weeks later, I have to repeat the process. The freezer temp reads 2 to 4 degrees, and we haven't noticed any other temperature related problems.

Any ideas what is causing this problem? Thanks in advance.
