I have a french door refrigerator/freezer. The problem is the drinking water tanks located behind a panel are frozen solid. I read a repair tech PDF file on this model and it gave me three things to check for this problem. I first checked to make sure I was getting 12 volts output at the heater adaptor plug and I did. the next thing I checked was continuity of the heater it self, I read 71.8 ohms. Not sure what the value is suppose to be as the tech sheet did not have that info. The last thing to check I'm just not sure about. It said, to check the "damper auger motor" not sure how to do that, also mentioned to check the "PCB" control module. This is where it gets dicey for me. Is there a more stream line check I can perform to get a proper diagnosis to this problem. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated.:(
