Frost buildup on coils in freezer section. Defrost heater comes on, but it only defrosts the bottom half of the coils. The top half is still covered in frost/ice. Any recommendations to fix this problem is appreciated.

Change the defrost thermostat and the evaporator thermistor, most probable problem.
