A friend recently moved a refrigerator that was working well before being moved. Since the move, the compressor won't run, but the fan does. I don't know if or for how long they waited before plugging it in, although they did say it was only tyilted enough to carry it through the doors. I cannot locate a reset anywhere on the unit, if in fact, it does have one.

Check the wiring to the compressor, if it is cold and not running. If hot and vibrating, but not cooling, you might have a clogged capillary tube.
