My GE Profile Refrigerator (PSS25SGNABS) Door Water Dispenser has developed a long shut off delay after the cup is removed.
I have verified that the Control Panel is not the problem and my next option is to replace the Water Inlet Valve and then the dispenser switch. Ice dispenser is working but the refrigerator makes a loud "clunking" noise when the water flow stops after filling a cup and making ice. Any help with troubleshooting this issue would be much appreciated.

Thanks

To resolve this issue, I replaced the Water Inlet Valve - Part Number: AP3192626 - MFG Part Number: WR57X10032. The Water Dispenser now shuts off immediately after the cup is removed. Replacement was simple and took approx 15 minutes. Although the part shipped without instructions, google "How to replace Water Inlet Valve" and you will find many helpful videos.
