Refrigerator is freezing items in produce drawer. I've replaced the damper control and it continues to freeze everything. Freezer temp is at zero which is where it should be. It there a circulation fan on the fridge side?

Put tape over he bottom two vents on the left side of the refrigerator compartment solved the problem. New problem, client isn't digging the tape. What control the air flow to those vents? Keep in mind I've already replaced the damper.

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Please check it.

if this is not a North American unit then info may not be available.

Depending on the unit.

The damper may be controlled by an analogue thermostat at the control panel.
Some dampers have this as part of the damper assembly and then a mechanical arm to vary the temperature from the control panel.

On more modern units the damper is controlled by the main control board which monitors a fresh food compartment thermistor.

Note that GE's have a lot of control board problems.
