not cooling
Model Number: msd2454frw Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a maytag msd2454frw and the freezer side seems fine but the fridge is not cooling like it should. I have vacuumed any dust but doesnt seem to have helped. PLEASE help.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MSD2454FRW | AppliancePartsPros.com Check that the evaporator fan is running. Check that the baffle/louvers between the freezer/fresh food sections are opening. If both OK remove the cover and check the evaporator coils to see if they are heavily iced/frosted over. If they are you probably have a defrost problem. The problem usually shows up as poor fresh food cooling but will eventually also effect the freezer.
