Model Number: ED5FHEXMQ00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I have a Whirlpool side by side that has no power to the ice-maker (L & N test points). What should I do next?
Thanks, I removed the ice maker and checked the power at the connector (Black & White Wire), there was no power at the connector. Related Models Last edited by Todd DeForest : 10-13-2009 at 06:31 AM. |

Remove the ice maker and check for 120 VAC between the black and white wires at the plug.
If there is proper voltage then the ice maker has to be replaced. - The ice maker Part number: AP2984633 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ED5FHEXMQ00 | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
