I had a solid running beer fridge until a couple weeks ago. First it stated getting too cold, then not running at all. I rapped on the temp control and it fired up so I installed an aftermarket temp unit this week. The fridge ran fine for a day, then started freezing everything inside. Tonight I went for a cold one and everything was warm. I gave the temp control another smack and it started up again.
What in the world am I dealing with?

Thanks for any help!

You probably have refrigeration problems. Measure the freezer temperature and post.

Thanks for the reply. I got home today and fridge had shut down again. I tapped on the temp control and it started right up. Both controls are maxed out and it has been running for aout three hours.
Freezer is at -13.2 and fridge is around 28

If you routed the new control sensing tube exactly where the old one was, you probably have a bad control, or not the right one for your fridg.
It's also possible you have restricted airflow to the fridg section, just check for an ice jam.
