Hello, I have a 6 yr old GE profile side-by-side that is having the same ice/cooling/heating issue that many others seem to be having. Our first GE service tech replaced the fan, which gave us ice for about a week and half but temperatures were still not cool enough. The ice soon started to melt again, and we had our 2nd service tech out today, who replaced a sensor, or thermistor as I'm learning they are called, because his computer had the freezer at 25 degrees while the readout on the panel said -2. However, I see that there are several thermistors and I believe our tech only replaced one. He did leave a spare one with me. Currently, the fridge temperature is at 58 degrees about 6 hours after the technician has left. I am concerned that we will need another service call. Is it possible the temp will even out after 24 hrs? If it does not regulate, should the other thermistors be replaced? Perhaps a motherboard issue?

I certainly appreciate your time and expertise, many thanks!
