I have a maytag, side by side refrig that makes a buzzing noise. I have checked for continuity on the compressor. Compressor is good. Replaced the starter switch, still buzzing. Can anyone help me? Thankyou.

Since you refer to the compressor I am assuming that is what is buzzing.

You could check across it to be sure that it is getting 120 volts.

Also I am assuming that the starter switch is the start device (PTC relay).
You could try checking the capacitor though usuially they are very reliable.
Did you check that the compressor windings were not grounded.

Just because the compressor windings measure OK does not mean that the compressor is OK. It may have internal mechanical problems.
