New unit was shipped overseas and before I could stop the helper he put an adapter on fridge and plugged it into 220v outlet. Ran for 10 secs or so and then popped. Both the evaporator fan and the condenser fan coils smoked. Replaced both fans. Defrost timer circuit looks ok and is spinning. The compressor runs very briefly and then click, shuts off. That cycle repeats itself with the compressor getting warm to the touch. Checked capacitor and it checks with multitester. On ohms it increases and then goes to OL on Fluke. Is there another part that could bad other than compressor? Before I replaced fans the freezer coil was frost covered so I assumed the compressor was ok. Fans run now but freezer coil does not get cold. Any suggestions?
