I have a house fridge I am working on, actually is mine and am contractor but not very proficient in refrigeration, was working great. It is outside in garage, weather got hot turned down tstat, items started freezing, turned up tstat then inside got warm and never came back down. Found ice on freezer panel, removed, ice on evap. Thought it may be defrost tstat and timer, changed both. After I got it all together and started, compressor would attempt to start then trip on overload, changed start relay, also while unit was down I cleaned condenser coil. Also had condenser fan checked and is ok.
Everything is all factory, no piercing valves, have not checked any amps and compressor windings all checked ok.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
