Purchased July 2011 - trouble with temperature fluctuations in both fridge and freezer in first year, under warranty and fixed. Now having 10-15 degree fluctuations in freezer and 5-10 in fridge, replaced the mother board ($300) last week, still fluctuating, about to replace sensors - does anyone have any suggestions other than this not so cheap ge fridge/freezer which is only just 2 years old is never going to hold the correct temperatures.

I would replace the evaporator thermistor, a thin, round, white item clipped to the top of the evaporator. Usually, if this is off value it will extend the defrost period and cause temperature problems.
