I posted earlier with this problem, but have more detail now.

Ran through the manual steps in diagnostic mode and all sensors good, heating element warms up (quickly), compressor on/off, etc. The thermostat on the evaporator line is closed when frozen. The evaporator coils keep freezing up, so I am assuming the defrost timer is not working?

Fridge and freezer are both cooling appropriately, the compressor cycles, but the airflow from the evaporator drops when the coils freeze up. I can manually do a defrost cycle and the coils will stay clear for a day or so.

Help?

jlflemmons, Great description and diagnosis. You do have a defrost issue and the only components not tested is the defrost timer. But then you don't have a defrost timer ! You'll need to replace the electronic control board

Part number: AP3859538
Part number: AP3859538

It's located inside the compressor compartment on the left side of the cabinet.
