Ocassional loud noise when fridge is running. Seems to be coming from back of freezer. Slaming the freezed door has quieted it in the past, but not yesterday. Shut unit off for half hour and then no noise at start up.
Any ideas what is going on? Thanks

Remove the freezer back panel and check the evaporator fan and motor. Fan blade might be hitting something, or the motor bearings bad or loose motor mounts.
