The ice maker itself works well but the small "trap door" (in the freezer-side exterior door) to the chute fails to close properly allowing warm room air into the ice making compartment. A towel stuffed into the path helps to block the exterior air.

(1) what part(s) is/are causing the trap-door to remain open ?
(2) can it be easily replaced ?

Thanx.
