compressor comes on for 7 seconds then shuts off for about 1 1/2 minutes. Trying to print a wiring schematic from Appliance Pros website - too small.

Here are your parts

Here is the wiring diagram.

Is the condenser/compressor fan running and at the correct speed?
If the answer is yes then check the compressor windings and the capacitor with a meter.
Here is a good site with info on how to do that.
How To Fix a Refrigerator - Appliance Repair Guide - ACME HOW TO.com

Note: that the tests are not definitive.
They will tell you if the part is bad but do not tell you that it is good.
re: The compressor windings may be OK but it may have mechanical problems. Also the capacitor might check out OK but breaks down when 120 volts is applied to it.

If the fan is not running check that it is receiving 120 volts.
if yes replace the fan motor.

If the compressor actually runs, it will vibrate and the condenser will start to get hot. If so, you have a bad compressor that is developing high current and shutting down on it's thermal overload.
