Hello -- having problems with a fridge. It's partially repaired, but not quite cool enough.

Problem: freezer was cold but refrigerator too warm -- about 60.

We took it apart and realized the air diffuser was not functioning. Replaced the diffuser and the Thermistor in the freezer. Fridge is now 40 ... the fan in the feezer is working. No ice build up.

took the back off last night. the bottom fan was running, the compressor felt hot (that appears to be correct?).

Did more cleaning in the back -- but the temp is still at 40 this morning.

Everything seems to be running properly, but it just needs to be a few degrees colder.

Any ideas? the freezer is perfect -- at 0 on the mid setting, and -20 if set colder.

My friend thinks we should replace the back fan -- the one that sucks air out by the compressor. Not sure that will help, since it appears to be working correctly.

Thank you,

Jeri
