I have had periodic problems with the icemaker on my GE Profile side-by-side (model number pss26sgpa) that I have had for about 9 years. Most recently, I have had problems with the auger motor engaging the helix drive. Upon closer inspection, the hex bolt just above the hole where the auger motor drive comes through was gone. (This particular bolt "pulls" the motor up to the white shield covering the ice maker components.) I remember finding a hex bolt on the floor several months before but I did not associate it with the ice maker at that time. So, I replaced it with an equivalent sized philips head screw that I had around. This worked for awhile because it essentially pulled the auger motor forward so that it would engage the helix drive. However, recently I have had to re-tighten the screw more often. It seems to back out more rapidly when going for crushed ice. Since I am having to tighten it almost daily, I want to fix it. My question is, which parts should I replace to fix the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help,
