My icemaker will not dispense the ice cubes unless I heat up the cubes to loosen them up. I suspect the motor is getting weak. Everything else is fine. Is the motor (AP4310544) hard to rplace or would I be better off ordering the full icemaker kit (AP2984633) ?

The problem could be a bad mold heater, a fault in the module or a bad motor.

I would recommend to replace the whole ice maker. It is a little more expensive but it's much easer and much more reliable.

replace the icemaker, it should make a tray of ice about every 2 hours if your freezer is cold enough...

The icemaker is brandnew. How cold should the freezer be? Does the icemaker sence how cold the cubes are before dispensing occurs?
