Freezer thawing at bottom, sides of freezer hot
Model Number: FFU20IC8CW1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
The meat in the bottom of the freezer started thawing and the temperature controm alarm started beeping. The outer sides of the freezer are also very hot when compared with the other freezer sitting next to it. I took all of the contents out of the freezer and put them into my other freezer. The freezer has been sitting plugged in and running for a month and a half now, and it appears to be working again. Any ideas?
