Hello,

I have a whirlpool refrigerator that the freezer and fridge temp is to warm. Compressor seems to cut on and off with the thermostat most of the time. But sometimes it will not. Coils are not frozen. Fans seem to be working as well. I pulled the run capacitor off and checked for continuity and it showed open or infinate resistance. Could the run capacitor be the problem?

Thanks,
Jeremy Collins

Pull the freezer back panel and check the frost pattern, should be total, light frost.
