We inherited this appliance from our in laws and it worked great for a couple years. Recently I noticed it wasnt making its normal noises. I opened it up, the lights were on but anything in the freezer had defrosted and the refrigerated side was room temperature.

I unplugged it and plugged it back it in, it sounded like it was what I assume to be a normal power on (kind of like motor starting up and gaining revs but then stopping suddenly) until approximately 5secs in. Then what I assume to be the compressor stopped making noise. About 30secs later the process repeated itself and kept on doing so. . . Ive looked at a lot of posts and am guessing the first thing to try is replacing the starting capacitor. Any and all help appreciated :D
