The wire that triggers the stop signal to the ice maker controls is loose and does not "click" when I move it up and down. The wire is not broken, it seems to be disconnected at the controls. Also, some of the ice cubes are adhered to the previous batch. Could this be as simple as re-connecting the wire, or do I have to replace the controller?

Thank you in advance for your help.
