My Amana fridge is not working properly. I saw a 'sticky' for cold freezer warm fridge, but I could not find a relevant post for what I believe is a broken fan (not sure if it's condenser or evap fan).
The fridge had been making a somewhat loud screeching noise for the past couple of months, and it sounded like a fan. I no longer hear the fan noice and now my freezer is nice and cold, but the fridge part is almost room temperature. I checked the defrost timer and it seemed to be working properly, which is why I believe is one of the fans that is not working. When I open the freezer, I hear a fan blowing; but when I open the fridge door, I no longer hear a fan turn on. Could it be a simple fan/fan motor issue?
