I have this refrigerator for 7 years but we hardly use it. We don't eat at home from Monday to Friday except sometime during the weekend, so refrigerator still really new. Recently my refrigerator side freeze most the stuffs in the refrigerator except the top shelf and the stuffs at the door. The temperature for the fridge side is 30F and was 20F last week even I set the temperature to 48F. The freezer side is below 0F even the temperature was set to 8F. The temperature control is digital. Is the temperature sensor broken? I think the freezing happen after I didn't close the freezer completely (left a small gap) and when on vacation for a week. When I came back some of the frozen food got defrosted and the air vent cover with ice. Please let me know is the problem fixable?
