OK. It's a Hotpoint Side by side.
-Makes and dispenses ice.
-DOES NOT dispense water.
-DOES NOT have water at bottom of door coupler.
-CAN NOT determine from schematic which part I need tp check or replace.

Is it on back of fridge behind FILTER connection?
OR is on the water line that crosses from filter connection to bottom right corner on back?

Thanks.

Got2git1, Your most likely issue is a failed water inlet valve

Part number: AP3192626
Part number: AP3192626

But you do want to check, or replace the water filter

Part number: AP3859302
Part number: AP3859302

If you haven't replaced it in the last 6 to 12 months, It could be clogged/filled with debris.

Thanks. That is very helpful! But where exactly is that little dude located?

Already replaced the filter but if that were clogged, it wouldn't make ice would it?

Got2git1, In most cases, the ice maker water supply is not "filterred" only the water dispenser water is filterred.

The water inlet valve

Part number: AP3192626
Part number: AP3192626

Is located on the back of the refrigerator. You'll need to slide the refrigerator away from the wall, unplug the power cord and turn off the water supply. It's a lot easier if you remove the compressor compartment (cardboard) cover. Just remember to label the wires and tubes before you disconnect them, or switch components, one at a time. It's easier on you to work that way.
