Kenmore fridge/freezer runs intermittently
Model Number: 106.59067991 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
Fridge and freezer run intermittently. Compressor/fan do not come on sometimes after running fine for several days at a time. Adjusting temperature settings sometimes will prompt compressor to run, but not always. When running, it is fine.
Coil under fridge is quite dirty with dog hair, trying to clean that. May be causing overheating and shut down??? Ads By Google Related Models

Either the cold control, the defrost timer, or a bad wire is causing the problem. Peal off the control panel overlay, if it has one and remove the screws. Tap on the defrost timer or cold control, you will probably find one is intermittent.
