Freezer door not staying shut
Model Number: 795.73252300 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
There was air leaking from the freezer, as the suction on the door gasket was not working anymore. I ordered a new gasket and installed it. When door was shut, it bounced back open. I checked to see if magnets were working in gasket and they were. I applied Vaseline around the door and gasket to help the suction to no avail. Therefore, our freezer door is not taped shut with masking tape. Does anyone have any suggestions?
