I have a GE freezer. it was dispensing only crushed ice and I read these forums and saw that the solenoid was failing and got a solenoid replacement and now I can see and hear the solenoid working and it dispenses cubes but switching to crushed I hear the solenoid engage but the auger does not turn and the flap the forces ice through the crusher is not moving up. What happened.
If I take the tray out, the crusher door engages so ti is not a mechanical fault there.
