The icemaker in my Samsung stopped working. At first, it was making smaller cubes, then stopped completely. I replaced the water inlet valve and the icemaker. The new unit appeared to be working with the correct size cubes. but it has been really slow in harvesting ice. The ice will be frozen in the tray and it won't dump the cubes. If I hit reset, it will dump the cubes and fill again. It's making one or two batches a day unless I manually intervene.

What is causing the harvest issue? Is it a bad control board or did I just get a defective icemaker with a bad thermostat? What is the best way to test the unit to see what's the issue? Are there any other components that could be causing the issue? The water inlet valve on my model does have a separate sensor that attaches to it that I did not replace with a new unit.

Thanks,
James
