Hello i am having some problems with my whirlpool ice maker. I discovered it wasnt making ice and upon searching i fount that the shoot that lets water drain into the ice maker was frozen. I thawed and broke the ice up on the shoot but im still not getting any water to the ice maker. The tray is still working it is going through the emptying cycle but there is nothing there to empty. Ive read about a water switch on the bottom of the fridge that could also cause this problem but im not sure how to check to see if its the problem or how to change it. Also could the switch have caused the shoot to freeze up? Thank you in advance for any help or ideas you may have
