Hello.
Frigidaire FRS26R4AB6 ...Refrigerator freezes food unless I turn fridge control dial to off or extremely low. Once turned off/down fridge warms before manually resetting via dial.... chasing tail continues.

Damper between freezer and fridge "seems" to stay open too long. Damper will close if fridge control is turned to, or close to, off. Will once again blow cold air if dial is set appropriately.

Previously I emptied entire unit, both sides, and dried all 24 hours+ in attempt to start clean and dry. Freezer currently @ 6 degrees +/-2. Both freezer and fridge "dials" below factory settings when fridge freezes. Freezer aspect itself seems to cycle OK AND keep cold. No frost in freezer evident either before or after 24 hour thaw. Ice maker works fine.

Hopefully correct info with all that bloviating. :-)
Any ideas?

Use the old insulation sleeve.

Post the results.
