Hi my name is Rob,

My son has a GSS25VGMC WW refrigerator and the Water Supply tube that connects to the house copper tubing is cracked. I wanted to buy a new tube,
the tube has a modified compression fitting. With a molded ferrel.
the plastic tube had a Molded Ferral, not the separate collar type found in most compression fittings.
It looked just like the one in the video about replacing the Double Outlet Water Valve ******************** Number PS304374, not the valve but the tube.

It looks like it would work but this tube goes into the Filter Head and I can’t see how to remove the part of the old tube from the Filter Head.

Is this even possible and if not is there some type of Coupling that I could get so that I could Splice the New Molded Ferral end to the Old Tube that goes to the Filter head.

I'm afraid I did not get clear which tube are you looking for: to connect the refrigerator to the house water line or to connect the water inlet valve to the water filter?

Hi Gene,

It is the Plastic Tubing that attaches the Refrigerator Filter to the Home water supply which is copper tubing.

It looks like this Plastic Tubing is Not able to be Separated from the Filter Head?

Hi Rob,

There is something wrong. The home water supply must be connected to the refrigerator water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator. The another tube should go from the water inlet valve to the filter.
