Hotpoint side by side refrigerator
Model Number: HSS251FMDWW Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
I have Hotpoint side by side refrigerator that just quit working. The lights are on the evaporator and condenser fans are both running. I have dertermined that there is no power to the compressor at the mother board. All three thermisters check Ok, Is the mother board bad? Can kyou give me instructions on how to test, encoder board, over temp. t-stat, and any thing else that I should check ( values and sequence). Thanks in advance.......Gerry

Hi.
Locate the main control board at the back of the fridge, behind the metal cover plate.With the fridge running check for 120VAC between pin9 of J7(the top one) and J8(blk).
