Model Number: KSCS23 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
Looking for some insight on a mysterious issue with my ice maker. It stopped working recently, so I pulled the plug, thawed it a bit with a hair dryer (thinking some line was frozen or something), and plugged it back in to see what would happen. Voila - it worked! Or so I thought. It made about 4 trays of ice, all seemed well, then it stopped working again. I repeated my earlier effort (hair dryer, thaw, etc.), and again it worked. For 4 trays or so. Then stopped again. So, everything seems to function OK, until it doesn't. Any ideas??
