I have a Frigidare SxS not cooling/freezing. I first noticed that the ice maker was not making ice and then after a day or so noticed that the fridge side was not keeping milk cold and then all the stuff in the freezer was thawing out. I pulled the inside back cover off on the freezer side to gain access to the coil and there was a little bit of ice on the top 1/4 or so. After "Googling" the issue (which eventually led me here), I decided to change the defrost thermostat and it still does not get cold.

When I first plug the fridge in the condensor fan runs, I can feel/hear the compressor start up as well as a slight vibration, and the evaporater fan works as well. I can press the door switch 5 times and it appears to go into defrost mode, although the heater does not feel warm to the touch. I have done an ohm check on the heater and its around 30.5 ohms and the voltage is 0 when I first plug the fridge in and about 95VAC when I put it into defrost mode (via the switch). I can turn the freezer control knob all the way to zero and it acts normal (fans shut off, compressor shuts off, etc...)

Thoughts??
