Model Number: KSRS25IHBL02 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
My refrigerator is leaking sometimes. I checked the bottom of the refrigerator and there is some yellow round stuff (the size is like 1 cent coin) in the the front bottom of the refrigerator (not inside the refrigerator). One of yellow round stuff is always wet. Sometimes it is too wet and the water drops to the floor. I have turned off the faucet of the water on the wall. But there is still leaking. Moreover, there is ice in the bottom of the freezer (inside the freezer). What is the problem of my refrigerator? Thank you!

Hello,
Sounds like the problem is a clogged and frozen drain inside the freezer. Your refrigerator is defrosting automatically and defrosted water should be drained out. There is a drain hole under the evaporator coils. The drain hose (#19 at the diagram) goes to the back of the refrigerator inside the drip pan (#25 at the diagram). Remove the shelves from the freezer. Remove the rear panel and check the drain hole. You can defrost it using a hair dryer and a turkey baster with hot water. Make sure the other end of the drain hose is clear too. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Whirlpool KSRS25IHBL02 Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
