The ice from the ice maker would only drop into the "bucket" after running water through the water dispenser in the door (and would only drop occasionally). My husband dismounted the maker and we discovered some of the coating was off the inside of the ice maker. I had read this could be a problem so we replaced the ice maker. After installing the new ice maker we are still experiencing the same problem. The ice maker makes ice (however the cubes seem to be smaller than normal), but I still have to run at least 10-12 oz of water through the door before the ice will drop. Any suggestions? The place where I bought the ice maker has offered to replace the new one but I really don't think that's the problem. HELP!!
