Our frigidaire side by side is not working. We noticed that all the items in the freezer were frozen solid. There was no frost anywhere, but it was as though someone had turned the dial to arctic. (Ice cream like a brick, everything rock solid). The dials have not been moved. The seal is tight. Nothing blocking the door, etc. it was that way for a few days, then suddenly it defrosted (while we had a house full of guests). After it defrosted, it no longer cooled, and the fridge also became warm.

We called a service pro, who said it may be a faulty control panel. We waited a week for him to repair it, but he stopped returning our calls. We replaced the control panel circuit and wiring ourselves, but it's still not cooling.

The fans are still operating, and always were, just no cool air is flowing.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. A week with no fridge and two kids is awful. Thank you!
